Let's Drop It: 5 Simple Steps to Lower Demands

Are you ready to actually drop demands, but find yourself stuck in the day-to-day challenges of making it work? Join us, Amanda Diekman and Keema Waterfield, in this pre-recorded webinar where we walk you through the first 5 steps of Low Demand Parenting—helping you shift from theory to real-life action.

This workshop is designed for parents who are already familiar with the basics of low demand but need support in the nitty-gritty details of dropping demands with their child. It’s less about the science and more about getting unstuck in the moments when nothing seems to work. Whether it's getting dressed, screen time, or mealtime battles, we’ll help you choose one specific demand that you’re struggling with and show you how to navigate it successfully.

Throughout the workshop, we provide worksheets, practical tools, and real-world examples, guiding you to see where things are getting stuck and how to adjust your approach. Plus, listen in to the group discussion and learn from others’ stories.

Walk away with actionable steps you can use immediately to lower demands and increase peace in your home.

MEET THE INSTRUCTORS

Hi, we're Keema & Amanda.

Hi, I’m Keema Waterfield! I’m thrilled to be part of this incredible team, bringing my experience as a parent, author, musician, and coach to support families just like yours. My passion is creating low-demand, supportive environments for families navigating neurodivergence—whether it’s anxiety, disability, autism, or Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA).

As a neurodivergent parent of neurodiverse kids, I’ve been through the ups, downs, and in-betweens myself, and that’s what makes my approach so personal and understanding. I’m here to help you untangle the challenges and find more connection, ease, and joy in your family’s everyday life!

That’s why I’m passionate about helping parents find more peace, joy, and connection in their families—without the overwhelm. I’ve helped hundreds of parents like you transform daily battles into opportunities for growth and healing. Let’s work together to make life feel more doable again.

This was 100% worth the time and investment. I am so glad I showed up live to ask questions and connect with others, and also that it is recorded so I can come back and watch again. Wow. This was really incredible.
